Below you will find our selection of Herbal Books & Dream Journals. As with our Books of Shadows, these books can be created in any color  you wish, please scroll down below to view your choices. These books come with a warranty as well .

A Witch not only has a book of shadows but will also have an herbal book & dream journal as well. While a book of shadows can hold herbal lore as well as ritual & spell info, it may be a bit too big once you add everything to it. In our family we have one large Book of Shadows, an Herbal journal, a recipe book & a dream journal for each of us.

This is why we offer other books for other purposes, like our lavender scented dream journal or herbal journals which can either be scented or unscented. Please view some of our selections below & email with any questions.

This Journal is one of our most unique. It is done in our Elvin Style with front and back border detail.
The front cover is very detailed and features all of the flowing ness reminiscent to Elves. The back cover also

Wrinkled Stone Pentagram Journal

This cute journal has cut waved cover edges, wrinkled leather, a raised pentagram. It also features three real stones set into the cover, one in Amethyst, one clear quartz and one smokey quartz. Of course we can use almost any stones you desire, simply just let us know what you may like at time of purchase. Please keep in mind that clear stones do not appear clear on the cover unless you tit the book to the side, They are clear so they do tend to look the color of the leather underneath.  The spine sashes are made of uneven details as well so it really looks hand made. The cover has plenty of age and wrinkles to make it look as old as we all strive for in our Witchy Books!

This great book is made of wrinkled leather and a lovely glass eye. You can have your choice of three eye colors, yellow, green and blue. The book is very interesting and mysterious looking. The eye is so realistic that you will feel as if the book is always watching what happens around it, always looking out for you. It is a wonderful and unique book. This book is also shown as an herbal book on our journals page where you can purchase it pre filled with Culpeper's color herbal book. This book has three spine sashes with wrinkles extending from front to back across the spine as well.

Binding Styles:

Select 1 option

All books (except the practical magick books)  can either be hand bound or screw post bound:

Hand Bound: as seen here offers the strongest possible bond. This type of binding does not allow for the pages to be moved or added to unless it is sent back to do so. It does however offer longevity and a " oneness" about a BOS.  This style of binding assures you that should it drop the pages will remain in tact and you will not loose any of your valuable work.

Screw Post Bound: This style of binding allows you to be able to remove and move pages around. This Style works well for those who like to print out pages or those who like to move pages around now and then. Though the pins used are strong & Our Screw Post system is strong so should you drop your book the pins will stay in tact as will the binding. it does make the pages very easily torn out of the book as you keep moving them around over & over, plus you can only expand the book only to as large as the spine is, meaning if you have a 3 " screw post you can only add 3 " of paper and no more, otherwise the book will not close correctly and you will risk damaging the spine. On the brighter side if you make a mistake you can easily remove the page and try again!

There you can find: Blessing Bookmarks,  book bags ( these are leather bags to be used to carry or protect your book when it is not in use, or the can even be used as purses. The Blessing ribbons can be customized for your book with your magickal name or one of our blessings or even a short phrase or spell. They also come with or without a tassel and can be either sewn or left loose in your book.

These features allow for either a leather tie to close your book, (It will be of a matching color to your book unless you ask otherwise), or a belt type closure, also in a coordinating color and metal. ( please note that no two closures will be exact as we choose the most fitting one for your book, we use many recycled materials to create these so each one will be unique.

Tea Dyed Paper Edges
This type of aging allows the page edges to look wet & wrinkled. It gives that old look to your work before you begin. We age the page edges & some of the interior pages. This allows for the old look but will not interfere with your writing inks. This may also make your cover stand up a bit in some cases, meaning it will not close flat. Please note this type of aging does take extra time to do.

 This features basically takes the page edges torn. Kind of like water color paper edges
but a little more rough looking.

Gold, Silver & Copper Leafed Paper edges:

This allows for the paper edges to have Gold, Silver or Copper applied to them.  The edges appear as they would in an Old Book. This feature was only used for the well to do books, those who would be owned by the rich. It really gives an extra pop to the page edges. ( please note we do not recommend this feature on page ageing or burning as both these techniques will ruin the gold detail)

This will allow us to not acquire any delays in your books construction as too often marbled papers can be out of stock. Please bare in mind these are hand made in other countries so there can be a delay if our supplier is out of stock.
