Below you will find our selection of Herbal Books & Dream Journals. As with our Books of Shadows, these books can be created in any color  you wish, please scroll down below to view your choices. These books come with a warranty as well .

A Witch not only has a book of shadows but will also have an herbal book & dream journal as well. While a book of shadows can hold herbal lore as well as ritual & spell info, it may be a bit too big once you add everything to it. In our family we have one large Book of Shadows, an Herbal journal, a recipe book & a dream journal for each of us.

This is why we offer other books for other purposes, like our lavender scented dream journal or herbal journals which can either be scented or unscented. Please view some of our selections below & email with any questions.

One of our best journals yet, a heavily wrinkled journal with raised corners and a deep set faerie star (8 pointed Star) in the center.
The book offers a pentacle spine and two twisted sashes. The cover also has some waved detail towards the spine.  It is a real earthy feeling book.

This cute journal has cut waved cover edges, wrinkled leather, a raised pentagram. It also features three real stones set into the cover: 1 Amethyst, 1 Clear Quartz, & 1 Smokey Quartz. Of course we can use almost any stones you desire, simply just let us know what you may like at time of purchase. (Subject to availability.) Please keep in mind that clear stones do not appear clear on the cover unless you tilt the book to the side. They are clear so they will tend to look the color of the leather underneath.  The spine sashes are made of uneven details as well so it really looks hand made. Binding Styles:

Select 1 option

All books can either be hand bound or screw post bound:

Hand Bound:
As seen here offers the strongest possible bond. This type of binding does not allow for the pages to be moved or added to unless it is sent back to do so. It does however offer longevity and a " oneness" about a BOS.  This style of binding assures you that should it drop the pages will remain in tact and you will not loose any of your valuable work.

Screw Post Bound:
This style of binding allows you to be able to remove and move pages around. This Style works well for those who like to print out pages or those who like to move pages around now and then. Though the pins used are strong & Our Screw Post system is strong so should you drop your book the pins will stay in tact as will the binding. There are some draw backs as well. It does make the pages very easily torn out of the book as you keep moving them around over & over, as it is with a loose leaf binder, we all had them in school and almost always needed those hole protectors to fix torn holes, plus you can only expand the book only to as large as the spine is, meaning if you have a 3 " screw post you can only add 3 " of paper and no more, otherwise the book will not close correctly and you will risk damaging the spine. The screws over time may become stripped and not work as well. Although this may never happen, we feel it is our place to let the customer be aware of all possible problems that may arise with any of our products. On the brighter side if you make a mistake you can easily remove the page and try again! Please be aware that is a bit challenging to use screw post binding on the practical magick BOS as it takes some fines on the users part to work with it.

Book Closures:

Leather Strap& Belt Closures
These features allow for either a leather tie to close your book, (It will be of a matching color to your book unless you ask otherwise), or a belt type closure, also in a coordinating color and metal. ( please note that no two closures will be exact as we choose the most fitting one for your book, we use many recycled materials to create these so each one will be unique.
