Please understand if you are in anyway an impatient person you may not want to order a BOS at this time. The wait can be a possible 6 or more months in some cases for your book to ship. We say this because we have been put through the ringer by people because some folks do not read or realize there is a time frame wait on custom books as well as any double sold BOS on the clearance page, which is clearly listed out on the clearance page. We are working towards only having in stock books to sell but we are not there yet. We really are trying to simplify ordering so you can get your BOS quickly as we do not like to make people wait, but we still have orders to fill that are old so please allow patience with us as we are doing our best.

 We have, for the last 10 years offered these books and yet we still get flack for certain things beyond our control and we are desperately trying to change the things within our control. These books are made with ritual intent and purpose and we can not do so and be able to run our business the way Target, Wal-Mart or any other super store can as they simply have the man power to do so. It is just two of us, and one of us, works full time, we are not a huge company so please understand we are doing our very best to work as fast as we can with what time frames we are given by our suppliers.

We know it is frustrating to have delays but they can and do happen. We are so happy and honored if you choose us to make your BOS, but to make it the best we can we need, in some cases a great deal of time to do so. We figure since there are a multitude of people who are beyond happy once they receive their book and they mention often it was worth the wait.... That makes us feel wonderful that we can fulfill your dreams.

We will do our best to update this report weekly to help answer some questions you may have on your order. Please note an estimated ship date is given at the time of purchase so please see your confirmation email from us to ensure you have read all the needed details. We try very hard to keep up with all the emails we get but Stephen is our ONLY email correspondent at this time and he also works full time so when he gets home at 6:00 pm he usually does email, we do it about 2 to 3 times a week. We also have a correspondent on Facebook from time to time and can help with any basic questions you may have. Please allow 48 hours for a response.

 We are normal folks just like everyone else and we to have personal lives that affect our work such as doctors app and being sick and so on and so forth, please allow us this personal time as we need. We only want to deliver the best possible product to you and are always striving to do so. We make mistakes and get back logged but you are always in the foremost of our minds and we are ALWAYS trying to find ways of being better. We are not able to afford extra help at this time, but hopefully in the future we will be able to.

Order Update Info

Please understand the following info is subject to change. All ship dates are estimates. Please note, Orders on Payment Plan will appear here until paid in full. We ship once to twice a week so if your book is finished after the last ship date it will ship the next ship day. Please know clearance books tend to ship sooner as we generally have several covers made at one time for these books.
 

 

How The Update Sheet works

If you order is on this report it will have various stages of info. This will change as progress is made. For instance, if you books progress reads waiting on paper, it means we are waiting on the interior paper. If that changes to say waiting on Belt (if applicable) then the paper is in we are now waiting on the belt. We change the status and dates as we receive either materials or updates from our suppliers. Please note that sometimes, there can be paper coming in damaged or materials not as WE ordered them so that may push the dates and push the progress. Since a lot of the products we use are hand made by others, those products must meet our standards. If they do not, we will not use them for your book and the book will then be delayed a bit more.

 

The following is a Key to the update report:

Materials on Order:  Means we have ordered your materials and are awaiting their arrival   

Under Construction: Means we have at least the leather and are in the press of constructing your book

Cover Made: Means just that, the cover is made and we are awaiting the interior /supplies

Waiting on Paper: Means waiting on the interior writing paper, the heart of the book

       Waiting on MP: Means waiting on Marbled Paper, this can sometimes be a long wait as some papers come from overseas

Est. Ship Date: Means the date your order number is currently estimated to ship out. This date can change due to many factors; some beyond our control. Our dates are written out as such: Month/Day/Year - so 1/4/2012 = January 4th, 2012.


This report is designed to limit basic questions about your order. We get so many emails for so many different topics it is hard to root through them all to find the order questions. Though We love hearing from you, no matter what the question, We are trying to meet these deadlines and finish all these books in a timely manner.  So we must push hard and work harder to finish these. We are hoping this will help with standard questions concerning your order. This report will update as info about your book does so ship dates may change as will progress.

If you still require assistance, by all means let us know and we will do our very best to get back with you. Please refer to your order number when emailing or messaging. Please also note we ship once a week to lesson environmental impact so your order may state done but have a ship date of up to 7 days later.

Tracking is for the US Postal Service (USPS) or Federal Express (FedEx). You can Click on the appropriate link below to check the status - simply copy your tracking number and paste it in the space provided on the shippers website.  Please note once it is scanned or accepted by them we can not control how long it takes or why it would process through another state or sort facility away from where you live, they make mistakes and can sometimes send a package off to the wrong sort facility only to re route it back to where it was intended to go to and this is not our fault nor is it within our control to change the usps or fed ex.

Shipping Info & Updates

 

An ongoing labor dispute between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers has escalated to a full lockout.
Canada Post has announced that, effective today 6/12/11 mail will not be accepted or delivered across Canada until further notice.

The lockout impacts all shipments to and from Canada handled by Canada Post, as well as shipments into Canada via postal carriers such as USPS or Royal Mail.

The US postal service, while striving to provide better costs and service for overseas shipping has really cracked down on the way an item can be packed and shipped. We try our very best to pack everything securely but, we have had items returned to us for the most simple of reasons from the wrong tape to it being .2 ounces heavier then our regulated postal scale said. We are trying to stay on top of any new changes and new procedures they require. Please also note that in order for you to get a tracking number from us, we must actually purchase the shipping label so rest assured if you received tracking from us, your postage has in fact been purchased and your book is on it's way.

 Again we can not control the post office. We all know how it is supposed to work, but it does not always work that way, we will always do whatever we can to help to make sure your order arrives to you as fast as possible. We have even, in the past, gone hours out of town to retrieve a package for a customer just to be sure it is taken care of properly should there be a problem with a shipping company.

Please note we are not able to control when the post office, ups or fed ex tracking is viewable for your order. Once we hand it off to them it is up to them to scan the box for it to track. This is not always the case with the USPS. We usually allow 14 days till we will even be able to look in to it, again this is the USPS policy, not ours.

Please understand we have, in some cases, a 8 month waiting list for books. We can get very busy & since we have a limited staff of 2, but we will do our very best to be as fast as possible all the while not rushing the creative process. We often work with large groups and suppliers on with orders, such as Covens and Groves. We must work very long hours to keep up with it all so please bare with us if we have a delay in our contact. These books are hand crafted and not like others, so a lot of care goes into each one, we truly follow our practices on creation and ritual space used to do so. We Honor the idea of a BOS or Grimoire and do our best to create the best for you. 

Please keep in mind that ALL book creation orders can take 4 to 24 business weeks, from the date of order, to create then ship.
